Mission Hill Middle School was the first pubic school in Santa Cruz County. It has about 600 students ranging from grades 6 through 8. This program was ran through their Arts Academy Program that happens two times per year for ten weeks. This course was taught each Wednesday for 2 hours from September 24th to December 3rd, 2014.

This course was self-designed for 15 lowAincome students and was split between teaching basic nutrition and technology skills. The students in this course are now able to not only create delicious, healthy meals, but they were also able to start creating a food blog using the basic HTML and CSS skills that they were taught.
